Who We Are
AssistantAI is operated by Cal Bosard, based in Phoenix, AZ. We provide AI-powered email and calendar management services for professionals.
What We Collect
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, business name, and industry — provided during onboarding.
- Email data: When you connect your Gmail account, we access incoming email metadata (sender, subject, date) and message content to classify emails and generate draft responses.
- Calendar data: Event titles, times, and attendees from your Google Calendar for scheduling assistance.
- Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID but never your card number.
- Usage data: Portal activity, draft approvals/edits, and feature usage for improving the service.
How We Use Your Data
- To classify your incoming emails by priority and category
- To draft email responses in your voice using AI (Anthropic Claude)
- To manage your calendar and send scheduling communications
- To send you daily briefings, weekly reports, and account notifications
- To detect fraud during trial signups (browser fingerprint, IP address)
Third-Party Services
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Email content is sent to Anthropic's API for classification and draft generation. Anthropic does not use API data for training. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Google: Gmail and Calendar access via OAuth 2.0. We store encrypted OAuth tokens. You can revoke access anytime from your Google Account settings.
- Stripe: Payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery (notifications, reports). See Resend's privacy policy.
- Supabase: Database hosting (PostgreSQL). Data stored in US-West-2 (Oregon). See Supabase's privacy policy.
Data Security
- OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest
- All API endpoints require authentication
- Row-level security enabled on all database tables
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
Data Retention
- Active accounts: data retained while your subscription is active
- Canceled accounts: data retained for 30 days after cancellation, then deleted
- Trial records: retained for fraud prevention
Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your data at any time
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Revoke access: Disconnect Gmail/Calendar from your Google Account settings at any time
